Today what I see is the glance of yours so very sad
And arms ‘round lap are so specially lean...you kno’ what
Just listen: so far, truly far, on the lake known as (T)chad
Roams courtly a camelopard.
What’s given to him? That’s the grace and a bliss in a tune
It’s pattern of hide is just right from the fabulous tales
No Thing can though venture to rival its charms but the Moon
When parted and swayed with the waters of spacious lakes.
Now see from the distance it looks as flamboyant ship’s sails
The cheerful bird’s flight can be matched with the smoothness of ways
I know that for many a reason this wonder unveils
At dawns when it hides in the marble of the caves.
I know some vivacious narrations of magic — full lands:
A maiden of ebony skin and the tribal chief’s claims
But close air you breathed in was heavy to take for that long
Therefore no belief in your mind in the thing but the rains.
So how me supposed to be telling of torrid orchards
Of orderly palm trees and scent of unearthly herb stuff
You crying? Just listen... Far off on the lake of the (T)chad
Exquisite-ly roams a giraffe.
